It’s an exciting day for Alberta brewers and lovers of authentic Alberta beer, wine and spirits!

Starting August 15th, 2017, you’ll be able to buy (including filling your growler!) and taste beer made by small Alberta manufacturers at approved Alberta farmer and artisan markets.

Alberta Small Brewers Association has been advocating for this change for the past several years, and we are enthusiastic about working in this new environment. We thank the AGLC and the Honourable Joe Ceci, Minister of Treasury and Finance, for working to make these changes possible.

Our industry is proud to use Alberta-grown barley and wheat: the best ingredients in the world! Our brewers are craftspeople, constantly working to hone their skills to make the best beers possible. We couldn’t be happier to stand side-by-side with Alberta farmers and other artisans at markets in the future!

We look forward to talking one-on-one with Albertans and tourists about our passion for Alberta beer at markets around the province this fall.
